    FULL OVERVIEW

The future of work has been irreversibly changed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Organisations had to move their workforce online overnight. This rapid move has presented many challenges; technology failures, productivity slumps,  an unmanageable work life balance. Organisational leaders have had a crucial role in guiding businesses through the initial crisis period and ensuring employee wellbeing throughout this global health disaster.

However, this societal shift presents a rare opportunity to shape the future of work to better accommodate the workforce. Returning to the 5 day office work week seems unsustainable now; employers must ensure their teams are equipped to work productively wherever they are. How can business leaders empower a digital workforce and effectively manage teams from long-distance? How can organisations champion the wellbeing of their employees? What new skills are needed in a digital workplace and how can the knowledge gap be bridged through a screen?

The Financial Times, in partnership with Microsoft, is delighted to host this webinar to explore how organisations are navigating the transition to a new flexible way of working. Gathering a panel of experts, this discussion will delve into the triumphs and challenges of digitising a workplace.
